Not much newsworthy stuff going on with me lately. I just got Steve Pavlina's new book Personal Development for Smart People. I like it. Some of it is a little abstract but just the section on implementing 30 day trials is worth the cost IMO. Basically you just make changes and try to stick with it for 30 days. Takes the pressure off of doing a permanent change. And only do one change at a time. At the end you can objectively decide if you want to continue or not. My first trial is no Mtn. Dew for 30 days. I'm on day #2 now. Smokers don't have anything on quitting the evil Mtn. Dew caffeine high.
I also went and hiked a local trail for about 90 min. I've added about 20 lbs. from the gym and have been neglecting my hiking/biking fitness and it really showed. I'm going to slowly work back into hiking, biking and my personal favorite Bricks.
